Business customer details

Apply for a business account

1. Enter your registered company name, company country and VAT ID below. 2. We check the VAT ID and company details against official records where available. 3. Our team reviews your connection to the company and approves the business account. A successful VAT check alone does not activate business benefits. Applicable discounts and payment by invoice require an active approved account and depend on the shop's terms. You can return to your profile to see the review status. Leave all business fields empty if you are registering as a private customer.
Enter the full legal name exactly as registered. Trading names and abbreviations normally require manual review.
For example CH, DE, FR, IT or NO. Use the official VIES code XI for Northern Ireland.
Enter the official VAT number including its country prefix where applicable.

Validation and approval

A valid VAT record confirms the company details, not that the account holder represents the company. Business access and discounts remain disabled until an administrator separately verifies the relationship and approves the account. Changing the legal company name, country or VAT ID revokes an existing approval and removes only the exact group membership recorded by that approval.

Privacy notice

To check the claim, the VAT ID and, for EU VIES, the legal company name are sent to the applicable official register: EU VIES, the Swiss UID Register or Norway's Brønnøysund Register Centre. The supplied address is not sent to those registers. When a business price is calculated, the company identity, VAT data and supplied address are copied into HMAC-signed cart and order evidence so later invoices and emails can use the order-time values; HMAC protects integrity but is not encryption, and the fields appear in a PDF or email only when the shop operator configures the corresponding tags. Liechtenstein, Iceland and unsupported countries are routed to manual review. Only the outcome, official returned fields, reference, response hash and minimal rate-limit audit data, including a keyed hash of the source IP, are retained; raw provider responses are not stored. Submitting all business fields empty clears the current business profile and approval but leaves historical orders and invoices unchanged. Data is kept under the shop operator's configured retention policy. Sole-trader details may be personal data.
